
Last Week the annual Consensus GreenTech Awards opened for submissions. The awards are designed to reward excellence in Australia and New Zealand development of technologies that promote sustainability, and are sponsored by Australian Computer Society, Dimension Data, Austrade, Connection Research and NZ Trade and Enterprise. To receive the award, the product must:
- Be Australian or New Zealand designed and developed
- Be Innovative
- Deliver performance benefits to the user and
- Have further potential for for product or market development
The 2009 Winners were:
- Solar Powered Battery Charger by GSL Electronics
- Knowledge Management System for carbon management by Knowledge Global
- Greentrac Office Solution for managing PC energy consumption and carbon footprint by Event Zero
The cost to enter the award is $1400.00 + GST
